For shoppers verifying the exact inch measurement and box contents of a computer Laptop Case before it arrives at your desk. I break down the fine print.

By Evan Holt · Computing editor · Computing desk · Gadget Evaluator Lab

Evan's spec pass. The title must state the specific laptop size supported. Recent reviews often cite a mismatch between the listed size and the actual fit.

When I review a computer Laptop Case, I ignore the marketing fluff and look for the specific inch measurement in the title. If the listing does not name the size, I assume it is a generic bag that will not protect your hardware.

Look at the product photo to see if the case is shown with a laptop inside. This visual check helps you verify the scale and the internal padding before you commit to the purchase.

The title specifies a 13-inch fit for Chromebooks, a detail that matters if your device is a 13.3-inch model, as the internal dimensions may be tight. It includes an adjustable shoulder strap and a handle, with an accessory pocket listed in the description.

Check the product photo to see the depth of the accessory pocket, as reviewers often note if it is too shallow for a power adapter. The 5.0 rating suggests the material holds up, but verify the strap attachment points in the image to ensure they are reinforced.
