Avery's caution. A replaceable filter prevents algae growth and keeps water fresh for picky cats. Choose a unit with a clear filter housing to monitor media condition.

My desk handles pet hydration, and the core issue here is a cat that refuses stale water. A cat water fountain with filter is the tool to keep the bowl clean and the flow moving.

Look at the product photo for a visible filter cartridge and a water level that shows the pump is not submerged. The image should clearly display the replaceable media, not just the plastic housing.
