Keiko's heat check. The 40 oz tumbler listing must specify if the straw and gasket are included in the box. Recent reviews often flag the lid seal as the primary source of leaks during transport.

I test these large vessels for the specific job of keeping a full day's hydration cold without a secondary container. The 40 oz size is a commitment to volume, so the mechanical integrity of the lid is the only variable that matters for daily use.

Look at the product photo to see if the straw is inserted or lying beside the cup, which indicates whether it is a loose part or an integrated assembly. Check the lid image for the gasket thickness, as this detail dictates the seal quality that shoppers complain about in recent reviews.
