Avery's caution. Look for a weighted base or non-slip feet in the photo. Recent reviews often mention the bowl sliding if the dog is eager.
I test these for dogs that eat fast and push their bowls around. The key is whether the base is heavy enough to stay in place.
Check the product photo for a wide base or rubber feet. This shows if the slow feeder dog bowl will stay put during a meal.

Licking Mat for Dogs & Cats 2 Pack, Diswasher Safe, Slow Feeder…
The title specifies a two-pack configuration designed for both dogs and cats, highlighting dishwasher-safe material for easy cleanup. This dual-animal compatibility is the key detail to verify before purchase, as it suggests a universal size or texture suitable for smaller pets as well as larger ones.
Check the product photo to confirm the exact dimensions of each mat, as the '2 Pack' label does not indicate if they are standard or small-sized. Look for the texture pattern in the image to ensure it provides enough resistance for a cat's tongue, since the primary complaint in recent reviews often centers on the mat being too large or rigid for feline use.

Lick Mat for Dogs, Premium Lick Pad with Suction Cups for Dog…
This listing emphasizes premium material and includes suction cups for stability during anxiety relief, bathing, or grooming sessions. The focus on suction is critical for users who need the mat to stay firmly attached to smooth surfaces like bathroom tiles or car floors.
Examine the photo closely to see the size and number of suction cups included, as the 'Premium' descriptor does not specify the diameter. A common issue in recent feedback is that the suction cups can lose grip over time or fail to hold on textured surfaces, so verify the visual evidence of the cup thickness and coverage area.

Slow Feeder Dog Licking Bowl with Rolling Ball, Lick Toy, Anti…
The title identifies this as a slow feeder bowl that incorporates a rolling ball mechanism to engage dogs in anti-boredom activities. This design differs from flat mats by adding a moving component that the dog must interact with to access food.
Look at the product image to understand the relationship between the bowl depth and the rolling ball size. Recent reviews frequently mention that the ball can become trapped or that the bowl is too shallow for certain food types, so the photo should clearly show the internal geometry and the ball's diameter relative to the bowl.

Slow Feeder Dog Bowls and Lick Mat for Dogs, Non-Slip Dog Bowl for…
This product is described as a non-slip bowl for both wet and dry food, featuring suction cups for slow feeding and anxiety relief. The dual-function design as both a bowl and a lick mat is the primary selling point, intended to handle various food textures.
Verify in the photo whether the suction cups are integrated into the bowl base or if it is a separate mat component. A recurring complaint in recent reviews is that the suction fails on non-porous surfaces or that the bowl is too small for large breeds, so the image should provide a clear scale reference and show the attachment mechanism.

Brightkins Stars 'n' Stripes Lick Mat
The title specifies the 'Stars 'n' Stripes' design, indicating a specific pattern and branding from Brightkins. This visual detail is the primary identifier for this product, distinguishing it from generic plain mats.
Check the photo to confirm the exact dimensions and the depth of the pattern grooves, as the 'Stars 'n' Stripes' description does not specify the size. Recent reviews often note that the pattern can be too shallow for thick spreads like peanut butter, so the image should show the texture depth clearly to ensure it meets your pet's feeding needs.

Pick & Lick 2-Sided Dog Lick Mat & Slow Feeder, 2 Difficulty Levels
This listing highlights a two-sided design with two difficulty levels, allowing for varied engagement. The 'Pick & Lick' branding suggests a specific interaction method that differs from standard licking.
Look at the product photo to see the distinct patterns on each side, as the '2 Difficulty Levels' claim requires visual verification of the texture differences. A common issue in recent feedback is that one side may be too easy or too hard for certain dogs, so the image should clearly display the contrasting groove depths and shapes.

Lick Mat for Dogs & Cats, Double-Wall Stainless Steel, Large-2Pack
The title specifies a double-wall stainless steel construction in a large size, sold as a two-pack. This material choice is a significant differentiator, offering durability and ease of cleaning compared to silicone options.
Examine the photo to confirm the 'Large' size relative to a standard dog bowl, as the stainless steel material does not indicate the diameter. Recent reviews often mention that the steel can be cold to the touch or that the double-wall design may make it heavier, so the image should show the thickness and any insulation features.

West Paw Seaflex Bubbles Feast Mat
This product is an all-in-one slow feeder and lick mat designed to encourage foraging and food exploration, particularly for picky eaters. The 'Seaflex' material and 'Bubbles' pattern are the key features highlighted in the title.
Check the photo to see the specific bubble pattern and the flexibility of the Seaflex material, as the 'All-in-One' description does not specify the size. A frequent complaint in recent reviews is that the bubbles can be too small for large dogs' tongues, so the image should provide a clear view of the bubble size and overall mat dimensions.

Snack Dish Slow Feeder Bowl for Dogs & Cats
The title describes a dual-pattern design with a treat corner, marketed for mess-free feeding and dishwasher-safe convenience. This specific 'treat corner' feature is the unique selling point for this Kubi Pets product.
Look at the product image to identify the location and size of the treat corner, as the 'Dual Pattern' description does not specify the layout. Recent reviews often note that the treat corner can be too small for larger treats, so the photo should clearly show the proportion of the corner relative to the main bowl area.

The Fluff Trough Elevated Slow Feeder Dog Bowl – Prevents Fast…
This listing is an elevated slow feeder bowl designed to prevent fast eating, choking, and neck strain. The 'Trough' shape and elevation are the primary functional details highlighted in the title.
Verify in the photo the height of the elevation and the width of the trough, as the 'Elevated' descriptor does not specify the lift height. A common issue in recent feedback is that the trough may be too narrow for large dogs' heads, so the image should show the internal width and the stability of the base.
