Marcus on abuse. Tediluvi lists a black spike mat with a pillow at $428.12 and a 4.6 rating. That price is far above a typical mat. Check the live price before you buy.
An acupressure mat is a bed of plastic spikes you lie on for a few minutes because the sensation is intense and then, for some people, quieting. Tediluvi's listing includes the mat, a pillow, and a bag. The seller says the spikes are spaced for the whole back and compares the feeling to acupuncture. Acupuncture is a needle practice. This is plastic points on a mat. They are not the same thing.
The description talks about back pain, energy, and calm. We are not adopting any of that as a result. Lying on spikes hurts at first. That part the category is honest about. Whether it helps a back is not something a product page can settle. Read it as a sensation tool, and skip it if you have thin skin, a wound, or a reason to avoid pressure.
The price shown was $428.12, with a 4.6 rating. That is a lot of money for a spike mat, and it may be a listing glitch or a bundle. Open the live price and the variation menu before you treat $428 as normal. Color is black. Brand is TEDILUVI.
Field note 1
Massage Yoga Mat with Pillow Acupressure Relieve Back Body Pain…
Start with a shirt on if you have not used one of these. Bare skin is the intense version. The pillow is for your neck so you are not also inventing a head position. The bag is how you store it without stabbing a shelf.
Even spacing is the seller's quality claim. Zoom in on the photo. Clumped spikes are a manufacturing miss and they are visible. The strap mentioned in the bullets is for carrying the mat, not for strapping you to it. At the price on the page, the return window is the second most important line after the warning you just read.
