If you have 16-24 VAC doorbell wiring, this Ring Doorbell Pro wired unit powers 2K video without batteries. I test the fit for your specific chime setup.

Jonah wouldn't reorder this if… This device requires existing 16-24 VAC low-voltage wiring to power the 2K camera and two-way audio. It is not a battery-only unit and needs a compatible transformer.

You are not looking for a battery swap; you are looking for a permanent power connection. The Ring Doorbell Pro 2 wired camera draws from your existing doorbell transformer to keep the 2K sensor and audio active without monthly battery anxiety.

Look at the product photo for the specific wiring harness and the 16-24 VAC requirement label. This confirms it is the wired model that plugs into your chime circuit, not a standalone battery pack.
